Right Now:

* Noah is awake, post-feed, and creating a masterpiece in his diaper as I hold him. He only poos about every other day right now, so this has to feel good for him. (I've decided it smells a bit like toast and popcorn combined. Not too terrible, really.)

* Since he started REALLY smiling/cooing at six weeks, this post-feed session has been a really fun time-- he'll watch me avidly, throw down some wide wide grins, move his limbs like crazy, and make his talking noises. He's in such a pleasant mood!

* He is wearing one of his sleep gowns, which make him look so vulnerable, sweet, and cuddly.

* He loves swaddling and white noise.

* He is sucking on my shoulder or his hands whenever I put him there to burp him.

* He's mellow, so I'm mellow. I got about 7 hours of broken sleep, so even though it's still early, I'm in no rush to get back in bed.
