When this little guy was born, I was not given a chance to hold him for several minutes while they sewed me back up. When I finally got a good chance to really hold him and see him, he was all swaddled and cozy and I didn't feel like I should unwrap him, though I was dying to see his hands and feet.It wasn't til hours later that I got to really explore. When I did, Joe and I noticed his long long fingers and toes, a Tanner trait, I'm told. But the next thing I noticed was his crazy big toenails. Take a close look-- they are so SMALL and ingrown-looking, compared to his fat toe! Made me laugh at the time, and still does. I wonder if they'll ever be bigger and fill out his toe-top better?
I love all these little bits and pieces!
