2. The way he'll go limp in my arms right before he starts to drift to real sleep
3. how he looks in his jelly-bean swaddle
4. How soft his fluffy long brown hair is at the back of his head-- it hasn't begun rubbing off yet
5. The new coos he is trying out during his activity time
6. How Joe can put him in the swing awake but tired, and I'll keep checking to see if he's closed his eyes yet-- and for the first five checks, he is still wide awake and staring into the distance... but finally, finally I'll turn to look, and he'll be so asleep. I love that precise moment.
