Noah has two little "best friends" that we mamas have kind of forced on them.
But in a cute way.
Not in a "they don't really want to be friends and often cry around each other" kind of way....
No, not like that at all. Ahem. Erm. Um....
No, but really... We gals are more FRIENDS than the boys are. Having said that, Noah is REALLY cute when he sees photos of his buddies. And with Nolan, he even has a special way of saying his name-- a deep, loud, growly, drawn-out "No-laaaaaaaaaaaahhhhn!!!"... Kinda sounds like he is possessed.
I taught him that.

Anyway.... the point is, Nolan is turning TWO today, and is (and always will be) leading the way into a new era for these three little guys.
It is shocking, actually, to ponder... Didn't we just HAVE these boys? Weren't they just THIS small?

TWO. Two years old.
Ah man... it has been an incredible journey so far. I cannot WAIT to see what these boys have in store in their future. Lucky us that we get to watch them become who they are meant to be.
Happy Birthday, Nolan. Noah's coming up right behind ya. He misses you and says, affectionately,
"Nollaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhn!!!!"
Which means, loosely, "Happy birthday, pal!"

Oh man... That made me tear up a littele bit. Seriously, where does the time go?! I'm just amazed. I wish these guys could hang out more than a couple of times a year. Nolan misses Noah. (more from that time you were here in July than May... With all of that crying. ;) )
