Noah, Today.

{At the window, with his rubber duckie this morning}

Today, Noah:

* is still freshly two
* is saying "whizzers" instead of "scissors"
* is saying "teen up!" when we sing the "Clean Up" song
* told me at lunch to "sit the chair!" so we could keep playing a game I had begun, but gotten up to do other things.
* Looked at the baseball on his tshirt and exclaimed, "socca baw!" Every ball is a soccer ball. Joe would be proud.
* Helped me make bran muffins. He cracked the eggs, helped pour the ingredients, helps stir, then of course helped sample the final product. T'was GOOD!
* will come with me to Hancock Fabric and Aldi, my shopping teammate.
* just put his had to his ear, said, "Ppppppppbbbbbrrrrrriiiiinng? Heh-WOE? Oh! *toddler gibberish* Oh! *toddler gibberish*"... etc... But now he's done, and didn't even say goodbye. Rude.
* is now taking Anna's apron and piling it on the table next to me and calling it a "party cake", and singing "Happy Birthday" to it. He then tried a piece, then offered me a piece (a.k.a. the strap).

This kid makes me smile a million times a day. Love you, kiddo!

The apron was quite festive. I can see it being a cake. Don't you love that their imaginations are taking hold?

Girl- Noah is SOOOO smart! Congrats to having the smartest kid on the block! Hey- maybe that should be a gameshow..."are you smarter than the toddler next door"? When I make my first million, I'll let you know!!! ha ha ha....he's too cute!

I saw him two days ago, but I miss him like it's been a month. Dang!

Lovely photo, and I love your transcriptions of his pronunciations. I think a lot of parents just say "He says 'treat,' and 'scissors,' and 'gobble gobble'!" without your detailed description of it, and this is SO MUCH CUTER.
