Nine Months Old

He's been with me on the outside longer than he's been with me on the inside.

He's gonna be crawling in a matter of days.

He's learning how to make all kinds of sounds with his lips and tongue.

He knows me and loves me and needs me. He reaches for me.

He makes Joe and I smile a thousand times a day.

He has changed our lives.

...I can't believe that little flutter I felt in my belly is now a full-blown mover and shaker in our home. Nine months. And to think-- this is only the tail end of the beginning. How it flies by...

My little man.

Oh my gosh Emily... I LOVE your pictures. Seriously, when are you coming to Cali to take pictures of my Noah? And where did you find that hat? SO ADORABLE! I love seeing updated pictures of Noah.

The drooly pic at the top is quite amusing... The hat is hilariously adorable (but my favorite part is you can totally tell he is playing with his tongue!), and I love that your eyebrows keep popping through in these photos (of course, that may be because I, who am not always good at recognizing feature similarities, am proud of the fact that I can see your eyebrows in his face...)

Thanks for sharing the nine-month mark with all of us!

The pictures are amazing, but I wouldn't expect any less from you.

The writing is beautiful, and got me all teary eyed. It is so amazing.

I can't believe he left that quirky little hat on long enough for you to take a photo! And that second one...man, he's a charmer. Coulda been a senior picture there. He's such a BMOC!

Thanks for chatting last night. I'm hoping things get better before they get worse!

must start putting cuteness and/or tear-jerking warning labels for us unsuspecting viewers "at work". Freaking adorable. Beautiful.
