With my school year over, we've been doing a lot of just hanging out together, Joe, Noah and I... It's been a nice change of pace! Here are a few of our moments from this past week:
Trying Peas... and not really liking them, Part 1 and 2:
(what we enjoyed here was the faces he would make when we would give him the peas. It was SO obvious that he was not a fan! In Part 2, he goes so far as to actually EJECT the peas from his mouth as soon as we get them in.)
Bluegrass Baby:
(I haven't picked up my banjo in MONTHS... but it is a tradition for me to play for my students on the last day of school, so I finally dusted the thing off and brought it to school. Since bringing it back home, I have been wanting to pull it out to see how Noah would like it. Since he has been practicing sitting up, I thought the banjo case was a nice little "propping place" for him. Cute, huh? Enjoy, but forgive my weak skills...the banjo skills are rusty, and the singing is weak because I am thinking so hard about the banjo particulars!)
Zerberts From Dad:
(A surefire way to get some cute baby giggles out of Noah. My favorite part of this video is that he is muggin' for the camera the entire time. He knows when we are filming and he looks right at the camera nearly EVERY time. Such a diva.)
His Current Favorite Song:
(Thanks, Beckie, for reminding me how much our baby sister Kirsti LOVED this song... hand motions and all! Lately, this is the song that is sure to get the biggest grin and deepest concentration from our little man!)

Wow, you've spoiled us with so many unspeakably cute videos! Thanks for totally making my day. :)
(That little "ook!" face was so subtle and hilarious, and a little worried, like "Hang on...isn't this supposed to be avocado? What's mommy doing to me?" And wow, does he *ever* play up to the camera! It seemed like even when Joe was blocking the view with his zrbts, Noah was trying to look at the lens. It's like he knows how much we want to see him. "I've got some big-time fans out there, and I hafta give it everything I got.")
Awesome movies. I like how Noah uses his tongue so much sometimes, almost like another form of expression. Keep up the fun with my little neffer!
I'm with Genny - such great faces. I love his faces in the bluegrass one... I'm glad you got your banjo out again and that he get's to hear his mama sing *and* play... And if the kazoo doesn't work out, he might make it in the rhythm section - I thought I saw some keeping time happening there ;-)
Love you guys...
Can I just tell you that your little boy is so wonderfully adorable. The moment we received his birth announcement I thought, Oh he is a beautiful baby and he grows cuter and cuter everyday. Wish you could have brought him to Vegas on your AZ trip!!
